Undercover LAPD Probes Occupy LA Ahead of Raid

LAPD used nearly a dozen undercover detectives to infiltrate the Occupy LA encampment before a raid to learn protesters plans. Some were found to be preparing bamboo spears and other weapons, though none were used. City News Service first reported the details. Meanwhile 27 more protesters were charged with misdemeanor offenses after the pre dawn raid that saw about 46 of 291 arrested charged with failure to disperse. Bail ranged from 5,000 to 20,000 dollars.
