Marriage Tells Tales In Coos County News Story

Yesterday morning at 7 o'clock in Soquille Miss Nellie Custer and Herman G. Prey of Myrtle Point were married in the home of the bride's parents. They will honeymoon on the Bay and return to their Myrtle Point home. both have wide local circles and are noted in Coos County.

Pioneer Passes J. H. Barton Succumbs to Heart Trouble

J. H. Barton died unexpectedly this morning at about age 73 after collapsing at the store. Dr. Clarke arrived too late to save him, heart failure listed as the cause. The funeral is set for Saturday at 10 A M from the Church of the Brethren with Rev. Thos. Barklow officiating and interment at Myrtle Point cemetery.
