Only close family attended with two others present. The couple planned a honeymoon but gas shortages limited travel to a brief Brewster valley outing. they returned this week and he resumes work. The groom belongs to Huling Lundy Sons with a long local history. the bride, widow of Iss Tf Stemmler, is prominent in Myrtle Point society. They will reside at the Stemmler house after August first.

Mid-Summer Races This Friday and Saturday
Myrtle Point fair grounds hosts a two day mid-summer race meeting under the Curry Fair banner with dances at the Oaks pavillion each night. Entries include Three-Eighths Mile and Five-Eighths Mile events with purses from 50 to 125 dollars and notable horses such as Ostentation Rogue River and Charley Foster. Rain or shine the track plans to run and Nash orchestra will provide the entertainment.

W. C. Cutler of Myrtle Point is named by State Director McPherson as one of five Oregon Dairymen's League directors for Coos and Curry counties.
