Rare Ring-tail Cat Caught by Alex Hatfield Near Rock Creek

Woman's Club holds Interesting Christmas Meeting
The Woman's Club met Tuesday afternoon at city hall with fair attendance near the holidays. The room was decorated with red and green baskets and wreaths. Oregon Teen Dies After Auto Crash Near Salem
Leland Carl, eighteen, of Hubbard formerly from Coos county and Myrtle Point, died in a Salem hospital three days after a February auto accident. He was conscious 36 hours after the crash, which happened when he attempted to pass a bus, skidded, and rolled his car. The steering gear punctured his chest, despite efforts to save him. He leaves a mother, father, two brothers, a sister, and many relatives attended the funeral.

W M Axe of Big Creek brought two cougars to Myrtle Point on Wednesday. The pair included an old animal and a kitten about nine or ten months old. They were trailed by Jap Jarvis's dogs after being shot near Axe's place that day.

Mrs Mary A Cole mother of Mrs Claude Nosler died Monday at her Mollale home. Mr Nosler and son Lyle left Tuesday with Lyle stopping at Lebanon and returning with his wife and babies. He joined his wife at the funeral and returned Thursday with Mrs Nosler.

Missing Boy Bud Crow Reported by Idaho Lodge
The local Odd Fellows Lodge seeks help locating George Bud Crow, 15, 5 feet 8 inches, 115 pounds, fair complexion, dark brown hair, small round face and scars near his jaw and neck. He vanished from Gooding Idaho on August 8 and is believed to be in the area. Mrs Crew is distraught and asks Bud to write home at once to ease her worry.
