An advertisement extols Syrup of Figs as a gentle, effective laxative that cleanses the kidneys liver and bowels, relieves colds headaches and fevers and is free from objectionable substances. It claims universal satisfaction and lists 50 cent and 1 dollar bottles available from druggists, manufactured by the California Fig Syrup Co.
Tickets sold and baggage checked through to western points. Travelers insurance tickets issued through agent J. A. Ferraro.
Commissioner Lochren reports the June 80 1898 pension roll at 966012 with 39085 new pensioners added during the year 35951 dropped for death and other causes and 2898 restored after earlier removal. The June 30 1894 roll stood at 969454. Hood's Sarsaparilla is advertised as a remedy for dyspepsia headaches and salt rheum.
Registration books for the November 6 1804 election open daily 10 am to 6 pm until October 10 1894 and from October 10 to October 21 1894 7 am to 4 pm at Precinct No 6 Humboldt County Nevada. Rural citizens must show papers when registering per George Dunbar registry agent. Rye Patch July 1 Ist

The Court of Nevada Humboldt County appoints George Lovelock Sr as administrator of the Daniel Lovelock estate. Creditors must present claims with vouchers within two months after first publication to the administrator at Lovelock Nevada. Prior claims will be barred. September 25, 1914.
