Advertising copy touts Syrup of Figs as a pure liquid remedy cleansing the system and aiding the Kidneys Liver and Bowels. It claims relief from colds headaches fevers and constipation and notes the product is sold by druggists in 50-cent and 1-dollar bottles. The California Fig Syrup Co asserts only their syrup is authentic and warns against substitutes.
In 1873 the Republicans demonetized silver and in 1803 they, per Senator Jones, provided many who favored unconditional repeal. If parties were judged by their fruits, both parties would be condemned. Trusts and monopolies fostered by administrations show Hood's Sarsaparilla boosts blood purity and strength.
