Chicago Nov. 29 The sub committee of the National Silver Executive Committee reports to the full body its plan to let the Executive Committee decide the next national convention time and place. It favors fusion with the Democratic party and endorsing their platform and candidates. The committee may call a joint convention with the Democrats after their convention date is set.
Armory Hall will host a dance on Thursday evening November 30 1899 with good music and a pleasant time promised. Admission is 1 dollar for gentlemen, ladies admitted free.
A call has been issued for Republican members of the Senate Committee on Finance to meet in Washington on Saturday at 10 o'clock. The gathering aims to consider a general financial bill to be introduced in the upcoming session of Congress.
In the Ninth Circuit District of Nevada the Nevada Nickel SyndicateLimited and others are ordered to sell mining claims and plant including the London Mining Claim and Girapool and Royal George Claims near Love Lock Station at the Central Pacific Railroad. The sale covers 1000 tons of nickel ore and all machinery buildings and fixtures on the listed lands as described in Churchill County records with bidding to occur at the courthouse on a specified date. Proceeds to satisfy a judgment of 16 616.15 plus costs and interest with the sale subject to court confirmation.
