Washington May 10 The navy department has no information on Sampson s fleet or any engagement. It is thought a decision will come in hours on whether the Spanish fleet from Cape Verde sails for Porto Rico or returns to Cadiz for reinforcements. If Cadiz is chosen Sampson will face only small vessels in Cuban waters and can focus on Porto Rico.
