An old advertisement touts Scott's Emulsion as a remedy for thinning blood and fatigue. It emphasizes cod liver oil emulsified to feed blood cells and hypophosphites to support brain and nerve centers, urging readers to buy from druggists for one dollar. The copy appears in a vintage medical promo.
The itching and eczema are helped by Chamberlain's Eye Ointment and others claim cures for skin diseases. Also touted are Dr. Cady's Condition Powders as a tonic blood purifier and vermifuge for horses in bad condition. Sold by druggists at 25 cents per box.

Agent for all principal fire insurance companies on the coast. Facilities for handling accounts of stockmen sheepmen merchants mining companies and individuals with ample funds and correspondents East West and state.
Frances Hadley M E presides as meeting organizer with Vinnie J Hill M of R and others listed for the regular conventions held every second and fourth Tuesday at 7 50 p m in Silver State hall with details sparse on the group and date.
Humboldt Lodge No. 16 meets every first and third Thursday at 7:30 PM in Braunton's building. Ivanhoe Lodge No. 18 meets weekly at Silver State block in the same time. Drill and company drill nights held Tuesdays at 7:30 PM with practice Saturdays as noted.
St James Lodge No g of the Ancient Order of United Workmen meets at the Silver State building on the first and third Tuesday evenings at 7 30 PM. Officers listed are A Nicholas Master Workman F Muller Financier H Warren Recorder.
Winnemucca Lodge No. 19 F and A M announces meetings at 7 30 p m on the first Saturday of each month in the Silver State block. Members in good standing are invited to attend. G A Krenkel W M R W Lewis Secretary.
