Made a deal Saturday in Silver Lake telephones

Howard Johns sold his interest in the Disko Laketon and Akron telephone systems to Edward Braude of Silver Lake. The three men previously owning and managing the systems were Johns E L Harmon and Frank Zimmerman. Braude will work with the original owners to maintain the company’s past standard, as reported by the North Manchester News.

Work Rushed on Mary McClure House Frame

Carpenters began yesterday on the Mary McClure house framework in the west part of town. A brick car has been expected daily and masons will finish soon after its arrival.

Grosso Purchases Lot for New House Near Thacker Farm

Eightteen year old Groninger wounded by rifle discharge

Albert Groninger narrowly escaped death Sunday evening when a repeating rifle discharged as he cleaned it thinking it unloaded. Barn Fire Destroys Willard Farm and Livestock
