Samuel Jameson of Claypool Kosciusko County Dead
Samuel Jameson, born May 12 1828 in Dauphin County Pennsylvania, lived in Kosciusko County Indiana most of his life. He served as a scout company chief in the Civil War before reenlisting in Co G 29th Iowa Inf. He later operated a dray line at Claypool and farmed, marrying Selena Ball and fathering four children. He died May 16 1907 at Claypool with funeral services held there.

Mrs Sarah McCutchen 63 died May 18 in Chicago after years of poor health and recent heart trouble. Daughter of Henry Rhodes she married Benjamin McCutchen in 1866, lived near Gospel Hill, then Minneapolis, later Chicago. Survived by husband, one son, three sisters, two brothers. Remains brought home for funeral at Gospel Hill led by Rev Wright.
