Mrs S J Self Dies After Breakfast at Home

Mrs S. J. Self died suddenly last Saturday morning at her home after preparing breakfast for her family. The community mourns a longtime church worker and helpful neighbor who cared for her ailing husband. Her family planned to visit Uniondale after she had intended to attend a convention in the M. E. church.

Obituary of Louisa Oldfather Self in Bluffton Indiana

Louisa Oldfather Self was born April 16 1886 in Bluffton Indiana and died March 2 1918 at age 31 10 16. She married Sydnor J Self in Milford Indiana in 1876. Five children survive including Sydnor Russel Roscoe Ollie and Valera. A Methodist Episcopal active worker she aided in sickness and distress. Funeral Monday afternoon at the M B church with burial at Lakeview Cemetery. Rev Singer officiated.

Man Killed by Train near Laketon. Drudge Funeral Held

Marion Drudge of North Manchester died Sunday afternoon after a passenger train struck him while he walked between tracks west of Laketon. He suffered severe injuries. the body was taken to Newton for a coroner’s inquest. Funeral services were held Tuesday at South Pleasant cemetery. he leaves a wife Sebring, three children, two brothers, a mother, and other relatives.
