Last Friday William Miller near Rice farm sustained a paralytic stroke affecting his right side and speech. He was brought home by ambulance after a relief visit with Charles Teeter. Mrs. John Fitton suffered a left side stroke last Sunday and slowly improves. Ed Hicholtz five miles southwest is recovering from a prior stroke with limited speech. Mrs. Will Snoke north of town is slowly improving after a stroke, with her mother Mrs. Samuel Snoke helping care for her.
