Albert Whittenberger, a worker at the William Foster place near Yellow Creek lake, was badly hurt when a bolt loosened on a saw frame. His right hand and arm suffered multiple fractures and a severe wound after the belt caught. He was taken to his home for treatment and was improving though in pain. He had returned from the southwest for health reasons about five weeks prior.

Man Hurt by Horse Near Claypool
