Sunday December 12 will be observed as Tuberculosis Sunday with nearly all US ministers delivering sermons on prevention. About 150,000 ministers reportedly prepared special talks from statistics provided by the anti tuberculosis society to help stamp out the so called White Plague.

Former Silver Lake Resident Dies in Warsaw

Mary EB. Keller Watson died early Saturday at her daughter Mrs. Myrtle Baker’s home in Warsaw after illness. A Kosciusko County lifelong resident, she had lived with her daughter for years and is survived by three sisters and one brother besides her daughter. Funeral held Sunday at 2:00 PM at the M. E. Tabernacle with Rev. A. G. Neal presiding.

Deaths in Logansport and Claypool Families

Arthur Reese died by suicide at Logansport State Hospital after months of confinement. His wife, Mrs Reese of Claypool, attempted suicide with sulphuric acid but survived. She later hanged herself by tearing a sheet and using a radiator, with funeral held in Claypool. Survived by husband three children and her parents.
