Sunday December 12 will be observed as Tuberculosis Sunday with nearly all US ministers delivering sermons on prevention. About 150,000 ministers reportedly prepared special talks from statistics provided by the anti tuberculosis society to help stamp out the so called White Plague.
Trustee Paulus attended the regular monthly meeting of the County Board of Education in the office of County Superintendent Edson B. Sarver with Warsaw Wosdau in attendance.
Residents recount nightly talks about game and dog work with casual remarks on catches. Reports indicate many hunters active in the area, though no large wins are recorded, with several cotton-tails brought in daily.

Virgil Little five years old son of Mr and Mrs Joe Little living four miles southeast of town was kicked by a horse while playing near the barn. The bite cut a deep lip gash but he escaped serious injury and is expected to recover without scarring.
Public schools in Claypool were closed yesterday morning by Dr. W C Landis after diagnosing two scarlet fever cases and quarantining them. The shutdown will likely extend until the start of the new year.
Members of the Ladies Aid Society from the U. B. church visited Claypool on Thursday of last week. They spent several hours at Rev. Speicher’s home along with Center Society members and Claypool ladies. The event provided an enjoyable social occasion for all attendees.
Mary EB. Keller Watson died early Saturday at her daughter Mrs. Myrtle Baker’s home in Warsaw after illness. A Kosciusko County lifelong resident, she had lived with her daughter for years and is survived by three sisters and one brother besides her daughter. Funeral held Sunday at 2:00 PM at the M. E. Tabernacle with Rev. A. G. Neal presiding.

Hiram Hire hosted a large barn warming near Sevasto pol with two hundred neighbors joining a festive evening. Mr and Mrs Frenk Haney are the proud parents of a ten pound baby girl born last Friday morning. The newborn has been named Etdora Lucile.

Women of Atwood northwest of here launch a campaign to raise funds to pave the town streets. They note men have failed to gather enough money and plan entertainments and suppers to raise the required funds.
Arthur Reese died by suicide at Logansport State Hospital after months of confinement. His wife, Mrs Reese of Claypool, attempted suicide with sulphuric acid but survived. She later hanged herself by tearing a sheet and using a radiator, with funeral held in Claypool. Survived by husband three children and her parents.
Mrs Anna Kulp returns to Adel Iowa on Tuesday after a several day visit here. She is accompanied by her mother Mrs Martin Hay who will remain in Adel for some time.
Will Jameson of Claypool, known for manufacturing the Justice cigar for several years, plans to move to South Bend and start a restaurant business. The move signals diversification from his cigar manufacturing venture into the food service sector.
