Uncle Thomas Leonard an elderly resident died at his East Main street home last Sunday morning after a long illness spanning about three months, having been nearly an invalid for over twenty years. A longtime neighbor and devoted family man, he leaves six daughters and one son. Surviving daughters include Mrs. C. E. Viers of Rochester and Mrs. C. M. Smith of Meno, along with Mrs. Carrie Middleton of Oakland, California, Mrs. O. C. Cook of Franklin, Miss Addline Leonard of Warsaw, and Miss IfMhe Leonard of this place, and son C. Leroy Leonard residing here.

Thomas Lonard born near New Castle Indiana November 30 183 He lived on a Macy area farm most of his life and was a longtime Methodist Episcopal member He married Mary Love fifty five years ago and had seven children twelve grandchildren one great grandchild and one surviving sister He died November 28 aged 82 years 11 months and 28 days Funeral services were held at the family home with Rev A J Cary assisting Interment at Lakeview cemetery Partners and relatives attended from Macy Wakarusa and North Manchester.

Death of Dr W F Meyrs Vet near Barbee Lake
