A young Weimer girl, daughter of Mr. M. C. C. Weimer of North Man, died after an illness. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon with Rev. J in charge. Burial took place south of Uris place. She was four years old and survived by parents and two brothers. The family expresses heartfelt sympathy.
Peu a Weimer born near Punty three miles south of August 2 1911 departed August 14 1916 aged five years. She is mourned by father mother and one baby sister. She was kind to all and loved Jesus before her passing. Burial on the lawn with the family in quarantine. Reverend J J of North Manchester officiated. South Pleasant cemetery was chosen for burial.
A sizable crowd gathered in Winona last Saturday afternoon to witness the Black Horse Troupe from Bulver Military Academy perform a drill.
Funeral services were held today for Aunt Sirs Monroe Paulus in attendance with Mrs Susan Paulus Wales widow of the deceased. Paulus died about twenty years ago and was an aunt to Monroe.

Lovetts A Leffel Barnhart aged six years passed away at home in Rochester after a week long heart illness. She was the wife of Henry A Barnhart and mother to Dean L Barnhart and Hugh Barnhart with a foster daughter Mrs Henry Bailey. Funeral services were held in Rochester.
Mrs Allie Flavien and daughter Mil dred visited Silver Lake from Peru this week greeting many friends. The Flavieng family once lived here before moving to Peru.
Aaron Leckrone married Laura Stroup on July 22 1916 at Laura Stroup’s Huntington home. Leckrone known in the area as a longtime resident and brother to Mrs. J M Agmiss Mrs H G Groninger and Solomon Leckrone. They will reside in Huntington and begin housekeeping as friends offer congratulations.
The Corcus aid society of the M E church gathered at the Dec Ker home Wednesday afternoon to discuss their community service efforts and plans for upcoming events.
Nyron Murphy and family returned home Sunday after a week visiting relatives in Berrien Centre and nearby areas.
Mrs. J. W. Wabpurn and her sister Mrs. Albert Moore left Tuesday morning for Glendyke Montana by call of their sister Mrs. Maple who is reported sick and confined to a bed.

Mr and Mrs L D Keller return to their old hometown for a visit this week. They usually spend winters in Florida and come north for the summer. The Kellers lived here many years ago and have many friends locally.

Albert Bollinger died at his North Manchester home after several weeks illness. He was known in the area for owning pianos in Silver Lake and nearby communities. His sister-in-law Mrs. Bolinger is a sister to Jesse Martin who lives southeast of town.
Members of the embroidery club spent a pleasant Tuesday afternoon at the Burge and Hay cottage on Yellow Creek Lake. They brought their snacks and enjoyed the outing together.

I W Lowman of Ashley Indiana the oldest surviving Martin Lowman will preach at the United Brethren church next Wednesday evening. His daughter Goldie Lowman will sing a solo. Lowman began his gospel ministry forty seven years ago walking from Yellow Creek Lake to Auburn for his first field. He has baptized over three thousand converts and served in eight states.
Mrs Levi Holderman and her children returned home Sunday from Kalamazoo Michigan where she had been for several weeks visiting her parents Mr and Mrs J D Stone burner.
J A Leckrone and family moved to Jonesboro on Tuesday as he takes a position with the Big Four. He had recently resigned as local railroad agent after months of heavy work.
