Commencement Honors Silver Lake High Class of 12
The Silver Lake High School senior class of 12 held commencement at United Brethren Church last Wednesday evening despite bad weather. Salutatorian Iva McKrill thanked patrons for the school system, class prophet Veinia Sprigg envisioned members in a western moving picture, and Russel Werking gave the valedictory outlining the class history. Twenty eight entered four years ago. nine earned diplomas. Diploma presented by Trustee Frantz. The program featured Prof R G Hill on Undiscovered Continents and a male quartet Ottis and Bruce Sherbundy Roy Sprigg Elmer Funk.
