Robert W Reed died at his daughter Mrs Abraham Butterbaughs home in North Manchester after a two week illness from asthma and heart trouble. Born February 22 1833 in Pennsylvania he moved to Indiana as a youth and lived near the area for many years. He was twice married and leaves his second wife and twelve children including Alvin David Charles Reed and several daughters listed. Funeral services were held Tuesday and drew a large crowd.
