City repairs funded after heavy weekend rains

Four Drunk Drivers Plead Guilty In Hardin County Court
In Hardin county court last week four drivers pleaded guilty to alcohol related offenses. Judges imposed fines of 50 dollars plus costs and three day jail terms for Tommy Williams Jr. of Honey Island Sept 15 S R Blankenship Sept 16 Frank D Goings of Woodville Sept 18 C A Crouch Sept 22 and J R Treadway of Chance Sept 22 faced penalties of 25 dollars and costs for driving with license suspended. Fifteen arrests were reported at the county jail including nine drunks three DWI and two disturbances.

No Trace Of Hit-Run Driver Who Struck Boy Thursday
Jerry Lynn Collier an 11 year old of Silsbee was struck Thursday night while walking with his brother on a dirt road near Triangle Refineries north of Kirby sawmill.
