Three Injured In City Auto Mishaps
City police reported three injuries from two auto crashes on May 14 and 15. Four year old Charles Arline Jr. of Silsbee was injured when struck by Lonnie Beard. Frank Robinson School To Open As Kindergarten In September
The Silsbee Independent School District board announced May 13 that Frank Robinson School will start kindergarten in September for the 1970-71 year. First and second graders will move to Kirby Elementary and third and fourth graders to Read-Turrentine Elementary. The board also deferred a land purchase and approved a new vocational agriculture class at the high school. A six week summer recreation program for grades four through eight will run June through mid July, supervised by Richard Strong.
