Funeral services were held at Hickory Grove church southeast of Morley for Mrs Minnie May Cannon who died Sunday after a lingering illness. Interment followed at the church cemetery with Albritton service. A cemetery quartet sang. Survived by husband I T Cannon a daughter Dell Weaver of Sikeston three sons and three daughters.

Death of Poplar Bluff Man Listed as Self-Destruction
The death of 64 year old Harry Auman of Poplar Bluff was described by Coroner Grover Greer as death by own action. His body was found in his sister Addie Richards home kitchen as she returned with a neighbor from a store. A shotgun cleaned Sunday was found nearby. Auman had been ill and recently released from Barnes Hospital in St Louis after prior hospitalization in Poplar Bluff. He is survived by his sister and two daughters in St Louis. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon.
