In Scott county the Democrats won every local seat with Felker defeating Hollingsworth for collector of the revenue by 183 votes. Felker led Sikeston by one vote as Hollingsworth won three of four precincts. County totals show 6,926 votes this off year, and 10,582 for the last presidential. Grocery Worker Found Dead in Truck on Linn Street
Williem Af Ro Henierson, 32, was found dead in a grocery truck on Linn street near Highway 61. Carbon monoxide caused his death, coroner J F Num nelee reported. Henderson had left the Saveway Grocery on Greer avenue about 8 p.m. and was discovered by Tilford West and Frank Murray. He lived on East Gladys street and is survived by wife Cleta Henderson and mother Mrs L F Henderson of Charleston. Funeral arrangements pending.
