Cottage on North Frisco Damaged by Early Morning Fire
Sparks from a flue caused considerable damage to a residence on North Frisco street early this morning. The four room cottage belonged to the Malone Estate and was occupied by the Tommy Ryan family. Firefighters fought the blaze, but the roof burned away and household furnishings were badly damaged.

BE M. Crooks, a Sikeston area farmer, was critically injured in Hot Springs Arkansas last Saturday when crossing a street and struck by a automobile driven by a race horse rider from Sikeston. He suffered two broken left leg injuries to his spine and wing tissue injuries, placed in a cast, with pneumonia risk. Mrs. Crooks joined him in Hot Springs.

Denman Attends Missouri School for the Blind Meeting
Clint H. Denman of Sikeston attended the Missouri School for the Blind trustees meeting in St Louis last Friday.
