Last Nights Games Called In Third Frame
Rain halted the girls softball game between Johnny Martin and Judge Brown Jewell’s team and the Simmons All Stars in the middle of the third inning at a 66 deadlock. Since new management, the former Spudich High School ten has one win 18 2 over Mores house, with Nelson homering on her first swing. Next Monday the ten face Morley at batter’s diamond after a return with East Prairie tomorrow. Morleys’ rainout also prevented the shoe factory squad game. Assistant Manager Brown Jewell notes Nelson at first, Rabb at catcher, with rest of lineup unchanged including O Connor, Little Bit Hinton, Propst short, Simpson left, Wagoner short center, Buckles right, Bogan deep center, and Lee second.
