Essex Man Is Wreck Victim In 60 Toll Toll Mounts
Louis Neal 27 of Essex Rt 2 was killed instantly when his car left the road at the intersection of new and old Highways 60 near Morehouse. Passenger Burtis Edward Dillar of Gray Ridge suffered possible internal injuries and was taken to Missouri Delta Community Hospital with satisfactory condition reported later. Neal was born July 26, 1932 in Huffman Ark and was discharged from the US Navy for disability. He was survived by two brothers and five sisters. In a separate crash a mile north of East Prairie on Highway 103, John Sutton 16 Dorena and Harold Mayes 19 Charleston collided while Sutton tried to turn. no injuries or arrests reported.
