Public Bailes Bill Introduced to Tax Dances

Representative T A Gurnie introduced House Bill No 81 to amend section 4146 of the Compiled Laws of 1897 by changing the word ten to twenty five in the seventh line and twenty five to fifty in the ninth line. The bill would require any person hosting a public baile or dance with an entry fee to pay a five dollar fee, continued on page 2.
