Oldtimer S. W. Sanders Dies at 17 in Sierra County
S. W. Sanders known as Walt died at 10 39 PM on Tuesday aged 17 after a long illness from stomach cancer. A former sheriff of Sierra County elected 1890 and 1892 he moved from Colorado in Kingston boom days and later engaged in mining and stockraising. He leaves a daughter Florence and a son Robert. funeral held with Rev. B Meeker officiating.
