Obituary for Locklar Smith A Glasgow born emigrant
Locklar Smith was born in Glasgow Scotland on April 5 1821. He emigrated to America at age fifteen landing in Cincinnati where he married Elizabeth Gladstone and they had seven children. He lived in Muscatine Iowa for 35 years before moving to Cheyenne county Nebraska in 1986. His remains were taken to Villisca Iowa with his daughter Mrs J H Wiker and laid to rest beside his wife.
