A 15 year old Seattle boy Gordon Gillihan confessed involvement with another Seattle youth in break ins and car thefts spanning Washington Montana South Dakota and Nebraska. Authorities link the pair to farms near Dalton Chappell Falls City and Sidney with about five cars stolen and roughly 115 dollars cash and 200 dollars in jewelry taken. Gillihan faces burglary charges with a district court hearing likely in October.

The Cheyenne County Wildlife Club will release 750 pheasants on the Frank Morey farm south of Colton with help from state game farm representatives. Birds will be scattered where cover is ample, and similar releases from Dalton sportsmen will occur. Auto Burns After Collision Near Brownson
A 1949 Kaiser owned by Bur dette Densberger 26 Sioux Ord nance Depot burned completely after a collision with a 1948 Diamond T truck driven by Howard Roberts 35 Schuyler Nebr on Highway 30 one mile east of Brownson. The truck followed the Kaiser 400 yards along the ditch. Densberger was uninjured. Sidney fire department battled the blaze but could not save the car. Truck damage about 50 dollars.
