Senior Girl Scouts Select 11 for Patrol Roles in Guiding Star Council
More than 10,000 seniors from the United States and 28 countries competed for a patrol spot. Preliminary selections list Mary Ann McGuire Barbara Ramsey Lynette Ringenberg Margot Myers from Lexington along with several others from Ogallala North Platte and Lodgepole. Sally McGee of Lexington won top honors for All States Camp and will contend with Region 8 entrants. The Selections Committee included Mrs. Loren Pursel, Mrs. Neel, and Mrs. Terry with Geneva Hotelling overseeing food. The Senior Planning Board met to review Howdy Day plans Heritage Hikes and council activities as officers are elected Oct 14. Mary Pat Dolan presided with Barbara Ramsey serving as secretary.
