Two Hospitalized In Chappell Mishap
Two people were injured and hospitalized after a car truck collision on U S Highway 30, 6.2 miles east of Chappell. Injured were Gordon H Farren and Mrs Amy Farren, both 66 and from Paradise California. The truck driver Wayne Young, 28, of Ogallala escaped injury. State Trooper Felix Koenig reported the westbound truck passed a car with a trailer when it collided with the Farren vehicle.

Charges Of Assault Dismissed In Court
Charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm were dismissed against Harold Sharp by County Judge C W Smith for insufficient evidence. Sharp was accused of assaulting Clifford V McKellips on Sept 14.
