Western Nebraska conference closes in Sidney with retirements and district appointments
The second annual Western Nebraska conference ended in Sidney with Elder Lemon honored for long service and retiring to Omaha. Bishop Fowler preached to a full house, and the night session announced district appointments across Kearney, Indianola, Long Pine, and Bidney districts. A conference educational commission was formed to unify the state church schools, with Rev. L. Stevens named to the board. Quarterly meetings and county actions followed, including county funds claims and roads commission notes.
