Ministers Meet West Nebraska Conference at Sidney
The second annual West Nebraska Conference session opened in Sidney with devotional exercises and business. Officers elected include G. M. Boswell secretary and J. P. Dunhamond and W. S. Wheeler assistants. A. J. Cliftonen named statistical secretary with T. Webster and G. E. Fulmer assistants. W. A. Amsbury chosen treasurer. A long list of ministers from various districts attended, with visiting brethren from St Louis to Des Moines. Reports showed growth in religious and material prosperity. afternoon committee work and a sermon followed. A skating rink sermon by Bishop Fowler and talks on church extension and freedmen’s aid marked the schedule, with adjournment at week’s end anticipated.
