Three county board directors of the International Sunday School association led a Sunday rally in Peetz. A large crowd attended, a well prepared program was enjoyed, and a fine dinner was served. Sidney Band Will Continue For A Year
A Wednesday canvass showed local businessmen in favor of keeping the Sidney band. The committee reported strong support and donations to a band fund, assuring a band for at least a year with Prof. Lynch remaining. Indoor concerts at Tobin Opera House will run eight to nine each two weeks in winter, free to the public.

Winnipeg youth attempts suicide at Lodgepole hotel
Jack Garrett a sixteen year old from Winnipeg attempted death by his action at the Lodgepole hotel yesterday. He took wood alcohol and corrosive sublimate but survived. Roy Libbey drove him to Mr. McDaniel’s home where Dr. Simon treated him. He is progressing today and refuses to explain the motive. His sister is due Monday night.
