Camper Fire After I-80 Sidne y Crash Injures Minor
A one-vehicle crash near the east Sidney Interstate 80 interchange left a 1967 Chevrolet pickup with a camper on its side after a brake failure. Gasoline cans ignited, destroying the camper and causing $5,000 in damage. Passenger from Sacramento suffered a bruised nose and burns. a young child was uninjured. Sidney Fire Dept and Cheyenne County Sheriff assisted. scene cleared after nearly an hour.

Community groups including Logan County 4 H junior leaders the Sidney Jaycees and Girl Scouts contribute time money and materials as planning continues for a log type new building and cost considerations.
