The Nekata Conference of the American Lutheran Church met Sunday at Weyerts Lutheran Church with Rev. Gerald Flathman presiding. Flathman elected conference president for the next two years as Rev. Carl Sandbeck led the business session. A survey on church representation in the Sandhills was presented by Harry Bunge after the meal. Numerous local residents and guests attended weekend and Sunday events surrounding the conference and related gatherings. Drive carefully.
