Potter Days Parade Tops Free Barbecue Crowd and Awards
About 2,000 people attended the Potter Days barbecue while Potter Bank celebrated its 52nd anniversary with a cake and top float. Dalton won the baseball game 9-8 in extra innings and Potter defeated Broadwater 27 4. Royalty, clowns and community groups filled the parade with floats, bikes, horses and bands from Dalton Lodgepole and Dix.

James F. Brunton 61 a resident of Ordville died Sunday in Denver after a three month illness. He had worked at Sioux Ordnance Depot the past 12 years. Funeral services are set for Wednesday at 2 pm from the Craig Mortuary with Rev C E Brittain officiating and burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include his wife Neva L one son James of Denver one daughter Mrs F Walker of Auburn Alabama one grandson one granddaughter a brother George W Brunton of Evergreen Colorado and a sister Mrs Roy McCullough of Paradise California.
