L F Closman Sidney Pioneer Dies at 71
Lewis F. Closman a longtime Sidney resident and blacksmith died at the Masonic home in Plattsmouth on Tuesday September 16. Funeral services were held at the Masonic hall with George Taylor officiating. burial followed in Sidney Cemetery. He was 71 years old, survived by his widow, four sons, two daughters and several stepchildren. He came to Sidney 40 to 45 years ago, helped build the town, and served as master of Frank Welch lodge in 1908.
