Miraculous Well Rescue As Girl Falls Safe
A child fell into a well and the girl Lizzie was found at the bottom in a foot of water with minor bruises. The incident is described as a miraculous escape from death. Gering district 73 organized this week with Jas Westervelt as moderator and Chas Johnson as director. A land donation for a school site was accepted and a three month winter term will be held. Jim Boyd, a Mitchell resident, broke his leg in two places when thrown from a horse near Pine Bluffs, Wy, and is recovering in Sidney.
