Funeral services are set for Friday afternoon at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Sidney for Henry Schnell 46 who died Monday at St John’s Hospital Rapid City S D. He suffered burns from a August 20 gas transport accident. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery with military honors follows. He was born December 26 1917 in Melbeta and survived by his widow Jeanne Wright and three children Lynn Lana and Bryan plus parents and many siblings.

Four Scottsbluff youths fined for gas station robbery
Four Scottsbluff youths were found guilty of robbery in a hearing before County Judge C W Smith on Tuesday. Marathon executive visits Sidney after global oil work
Bob McMillan former district manager for Marathon Ohio visited Sidney on Tuesday. He had traveled to California and Wyoming on company business and was returning to Findlay headquarters.
