A 1942 Pontiac driven by Joe Weber from Sidney and a 1948 International 5500 gallon oil tanker driven by Eugene Bullock of Gering collided on Highway 19, one mile south of Gurley. Debris and left turn by the tanker caused the sideswipe. Damages were estimated at 109 dollars to the tanker and 300 dollars to the Pontiac. No injuries were reported.
