A birthday party ride turned perilous when a hay rack bolted loose from a truck, rolled down an embankment near Sidney, injuring multiple adults. Victims include Mrs. Thomas Lenzen with a fractured pelvis and other guests with fractures. Sheriff W. W. Schulz investigated. the group had gathered at Jerome Lenzen’s home six miles southeast of Sidney.

Burial Held Thursday For Eckert Infant
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Craig Home For Funerals for Byron Lee Eckert infant son of Mr and Mrs Charles Eckert of Dalton. The child was born last Wednesday.
