Unfortunate Man Run Over in Sidney District

Paul Luchland, a Hastings Neb. area youth, was run over while attempting to board a westbound freight in Sidney yard. His right foot and ankle were crushed, requiring amputation. He is recovering at the City Hotel. Meanwhile Sidney schools report crowded conditions and plan for more room and funding. The board is considering buying the old Swan school building to secure land for future use.
