Sidney Trainer Will Work With Huskers
Sidney High football standout Jerry Weber won a one year work grant at the University of Nebraska after an interview with Paul Schneider. Weber, a three and a half year Sidney High trainer, will join the Nebraska program to work with the freshman team. His duties include taping and mentoring, with potential renewal for college days.

Sidney residents can view the 1969 Red Raider football team in a 7:30 p.m. soap scrimmage Saturday at Weymouth Field. Admission is one bar of soap, with proceeds aiding locker-room use. Coach Bob Roach will split varsity players into red and white squads for a balanced, regulation-format practice filmed for coaching staff.

Irish Gridders Preen: St. Pat’s adopt new Y offense
