Two Women Injured As Car Upsets In Ditch West Of Sidney
Two women occupants of a touring car were badly bruised and scratched last Sunday afternoon when the machine overturned in a ditch ten miles west of Sidney. The injured are Mrs. I. S. King and Mrs. S. C. Balazs. The party was en route home to Detroit from a vacation in California and was brought to Taylor hospital for treatment.

Ninety three Nebraska counties must pay a state tax of 7,258,798 this year to satisfy a 2.34 mill levy, announced by Tax Commissioner Harry Scott. Cheyenne County's share is 69,835. Willis F. Bayne, 70, died yesterday morning at his daughter Mrs Iva Beyer home ten miles northwest of Sidney after a period of illness. Born June 4 1860 at Easas he married in 1883 and had 11 children, nine surviving. his wife died about a year ago. Funeral services planned for Saturday at the Christian church.
