The Village Board granted the Street Fair Association exclusive use of Rose Street from the Pacific Hotel to the Court House and Second Street from the Masonic hall to the Neubauer residence during Street Fair week. Extra city marshal assistants were arranged and a balloon ascent program by J Waldorf Hall Balloon Parachute Co. is planned along with Booth Bros free midway attractions and Taylors Electric Theatre.

Union Pacific reports 1.16 million acres sold in western lands
The Union Pacific Railway releases a statement detailing past year sales totaling 1 164 735 acres of grazing lands in western Nebraska Wyoming and Colorado. Large buyers include E B Russell 24000 acres Morris Workman 7000 acres and J H Norrisk 8840 acres for a Cheyenne county Nebraska ranch. Total sales in the last month amount to about 40 000.

Round Trip Fair From North Platte Cheyenne to Sidney Street Fair
Union Pacific announces a rate of one and one third fare for round trips to Sidney Street Fair. The deal applies from North Platte east and Cheyenne west, and Burlington offers the same within 100 miles of Sidney. Tickets on sale September 6 to 10, return by September 12.
