Father of Mrs Rathman Dies After Long Life in Nebraska
Funeral services were held for Fred Warnemunde 87 at Dalton Presbyterian Church with Rev. Daly presiding. Born in Germany in 1861, he came to the United States in 1892 and married Ida Sellman in 1893. He lived in Hooper and Wayne County before moving to Dalton last December to live with the Rathmans. He was a Lutheran and survived by children Fred, Henry, E T, Mrs Rathman, and two stepchildren, plus 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Mrs Mae Schley 81 mother of Mrs Ralph Davidson of Sidney died August 29 after living with the Davidsons since 1937. Born September 25 1867 in Fremont she married Harry J Schley in 1886 and lived in Chadron Springfield and Sidney. Survived by one daughter one grandchild and two great grandchildren. The Plains Exploration Co of Denver abandoned its Roy Gillham wildcat south of Peetz at midnight Wednesday as a dry hole. Depth reached 4924 feet when drilling halted. the hole was being plugged yesterday. The firm plans no decision on future tests yet and has other Peetz area sites in mind. Gillham wildcat located about four miles southwest of Peetz in an untested area.
