Mrs. Sharp wife of Milo E. Sharp died at her Sidney home on Monday morning from typhoid fever aged 41. Born in Iowa she moved to Cheyenne County with her husband near Redington in 1882 and later to Sidney. A Methodist for nearly twenty years she lived a devout life and united with Sidney church. Funeral Tuesday at the church conducted by Rev. Hageman. burial in village cemetery. Survived by husband and seven children, youngest a few months old.
A forty hours devotional service ran from Sunday morning to Wednesday morning at the Catholic church. Rev. Fathers Delboe of Lexington Carroll of North Platte McCarthy of Kearney and Meu nichs of Grand Island assisted. Sidney and surrounding community showed strong interest and large congregations attended each service.

Theodore Hahn of Sidney Nebraska traveled to Omaha and spent his $800 savings on a wedding hoax orchestrated by Mary Anderson. He bought a wedding gown, jewels, presents, and hotel bills, then she vanished after a witnessed ceremony failed to occur. Hahn now has only $2 left and seeks the missing bride.
Some U. P. employees born railroad builders insist the proposed high line between Big Spring and Chappell will be built. They warn Julesburg will be a town without a railroad, as reported by the North Platte Tribune.
