CROP Hunger Appeal aids world hunger relief
CROP is the Community Hunger Appeal of Church World Service. It conducts community campaigns to raise money and gifts for worldwide programs. It provides emergency food during disasters and sends seeds and tools for development projects. Created in 1947, CROP receives no denomination grants and seeks no congregational gifts. It offers a channel for people to unite to stop hunger as world hunger grows ever more urgent.
